What are your impressions? I feel it is an amazing platform for presentation and dialogue of classical music. Nonetheless, plenty of it appears self-serving as Hurwitz promotes himself and his private biases and closely polices the feedback, which is a disgrace as a result of there are plenty of educated folks on the market with so much so as to add.

It is a fairly enjoyable matter:

Off my head, my record would come with:

1. Mahler, Symphony No. 7 (my private favourite, although I do know it’s controversial)
2. Beethoven, Eroica (1959 stereo EMI)
3. R. Strauss, Metamorphosen (EMI)
4. Bach, Mass in B minor (EMI)
5. Mozart, Symphony No. 40 (1956 EMI)
6. Beethoven, Pastoral (studio EMI)
7. Mahler, Symphony No. 2 (stay 1965 EMI)
8. Beethoven, Fidelio (EMI studio)
9. Brahms, Symphony No. 2 (studio EMI)
10. Beethoven, Symphony No. 9 (1961 stay Testomony, barely over 1957 stay Testomony)

4 extra:

Bruckner, Symphony No. 6 (studio EMI)
Mahler, Symphony No. 9 (studio EMI)
Mahler, Das Lied von der Erde (studio EMI)
Bruckner, Symphony No. 4 (stay Munich EMI)

Celebrated recordings that do not crack my record:

Bach, St Matthew Ardour (not sufficient drama and momentum)
Brahms, Ein Deutsches Requiem (not versatile sufficient)
Mozart, Die Zauberflote (nice singing, however slightly heavy for this work)
